Purpose of the bill
The bill seeks to provide; for the control, storage, collection, transportation, treatment, processing and disposal of waste generated within Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council.

The objectives of this Bill are to:
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
This Fleet Management Policy has been developed as a step forward
to address pertinent operational and Maintenance challenges of the
Municipal Council vehicles and road equipment.
A thorough analysis of the rules, regulations and guidelines on the use
of government vehicles has been done to come up with a user friendly
fleet management policy. It provides a framework to all Municipal
Council fleet users with a set of realistic standards and guidelines to
enhance good management practices and establish a proper system
PREAMBLE
I have the honour to present to our clients the Municipal Council Clients Charter that has been thoughtfully and carefully prepared through a participatory approach to inform our clients the urban services they expect from the Municipal Council and how to lodge their dissatisfaction during the course of implementation for improvement.

All Local Council 1 Chairpersons in Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality received bicycles for the Ministry of Local Government to aid their leadership activities in the local communities.
On Tuesday 16th-03-2021, despite an afternoon downpour, Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council held the first ever Rewards and Sanctions Ceremony at the municipal headquarters that rewarded Health Care Workers, Partners and Stakeholders. The emphasis was directed towards the Health Care department in recognition of their service to the people of Makindye Ssabagabo Municipality especially with cognition of the Covid-19 pandemic that they've been at the forefront of fighting.
Today, 02/03/2021 Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council hosted the Minister for Local Government, Hon. Raphael Magezi, who officially launched the municipality's newly acquired Grader, which according to the Town Clerk, Mr. Kimbowa Joseph cost UGX. 950 million. The Minister also delivered the new government stamps for LC1 chairpersons.
Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council has acquired a brand new Grader, fully purchased with Property Tax Revenue.
