Today, 02/03/2021 Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council hosted the Minister for Local Government, Hon. Raphael Magezi, who officially launched the municipality's newly acquired Grader, which according to the Town Clerk, Mr. Kimbowa Joseph cost UGX. 950 million. The Minister also delivered the new government stamps for LC1 chairpersons.

While addressing the meeting, Minister Raphael Magezi applauded the Town Clerk for being an exceptional civil servant. "Kimbowa is one of the best I have worked with. We worked together when I was still in Mukono as a statistician. He has an excellent record in financial management."

Also in attendance was the new Wakiso District RDC, Ms. Mbabazi Justine and her deputy Jemba Moses. His Worship The Mayor, Lumbye Gerald Nsubuga led the political wing that included LC3 Chairmen - John Baptist Kiyaga & Sulaiman Ssejengo of Masajja & Ndejje Divisions respectively. Others were Municipal and Division Councillors, LC1 chairpersons and newly elected leaders among others.

The Town Clerk - Mr. Kimbowa Joseph, who in his address highlighted the council's achievements and challenges over the a period of 5 years led the Municipality technical staff.
