As stipulated in the Local Government Act Cap 243 (as amended), Makindye Ssabagabo Municipal Council "shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal, and may sue or be sued in its corporate name".
Housing
In a bid to improve the Education System in the Municipality, we are creating spacious classrooms that will accommodate all learners. And that regard, we have completed a two-classroom block with an office at Lubugumu UMEA while at Namasuba UMEA, the construction of a storeyed building is still on-going, as shown below respectively
Works and technical
The Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area Master plan (GKMA-IUDMP) has been prepared by the Government of Uganda through the Office of the President with Ministry of Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs (MKCCMA) with support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is ready for public viewing and comments from 17th July 2024 to 17th September 2024.
